Slowly,  folks are contacting us,  we need many every week for the next few weeks to move forward.  Thank you all, and we hope you might be the next person desiring this experiance.

Are gaining more animals, and things are going forward some here...

Our many Ducks, and chickens, plus theTurkeys are starting to lay thier eggs for a spring crop of little ones

The Turkeys, Slate Blues, and the Narragansett, Turns out we have a Slate blue Tom, and two hens, and a Narragansett Hen Plus our Bourbon Red Tom strutting around like he thinks he owns the farm.

 Our Jersey is growing nicely, as are the two nearly full grown Guernsey Heiffers, and the Guernsey Bull. One heiffer may be Bred, if so would be Due sometime in Fall, More on this later.

The five young pigs are now nearing breeding age, four planned to be mothers, and a young gentlman pig intended to be father.Should have young uns, maybe early summer.

We have been researching to find the best ways to assemble our new cottages to be both energy, and cost efficient.  In the process we have found an excellent construction method, which is also friendly to the environment. The Process is Straw Bale  construction. {We may use a very large Wall tent for temporary quarters later into the Spring, or Early Summer. Will see how the funds hold out. Would be about 28' X 32' and would put it on the permanent Floor which we would then later build the Straw Constructed cottage on.}

      When we are set to put up the first buildings, we will likely invite others who desire to help, to come and spend a day for a cottage raising. interested in this fill out the registration page and note that you are interested in learning how to build using straw / hay bale construction, and live close enough to come for the day trip. There will be something even for the younger ones to do, if only prancing in the mud to mix it for the plastering process. (Yes I do mean mud.)
