Things to expect this month: we are still on a similar type of schedule to January through the first of this month...
However: now we are beginnig to start slips of shrubs, for our little nursery. These will be a little of our income for the next year. We will be getting baby chicks, ducks, and some-times geese.
This is when we are likely to be seeing the lambs born, (though births on the farm might be experianced any given week all year.) We sometimes have baby goats, and ,or baby pigs, from here until June or July.
This is the start of a serious MUD season. The snow is often melting, and the rains often help out. Of course we also might also have a serious spring blizzard, to be snowed in maybe all week, at any given week. (being on a State Highway, we are almost always out to drive within a day of the end of a storm.

This is when Peas and onions should be planted, yet because of weather, rarely are: All of that in addition to the cheese, weaving, and baking, yet still time to enjoy the family in the evenings. We are often making Bee equipment, maybe chicken pens, or bird houses for the year ahead, or just sitting back and brushing up on our whittling.
There is often still time to enjoy some sledding or cross country skiing, maybe a snowshoe trip around the farm to check out wild footprints in the snow. There is still time to enjoy watching the wild birds still here from the winter, and always the time to see the very near appearing stars in the heavens at night. This is a great time to visit. Often cold, yet surprisingly warmer. Come enjoy this piece of the season with us.
