We will be growing more varieties of organic grains, working to build a water powered stone wheel flour mill, and more... We are doing less with poultry for meat (none prepay), and more with pork, dairy, and eggs.
(WE have have built our first of our Pig Plow pens for our future production. These give us ability to produce a pastured pork product, along with allowing a reduced fuel use way to prepare garden beds. Also a better way to compost the plant residue at the end of the season, while allowing us to completly free ourselves from Soy and other GMO products used in the production of meat products today. Will post Pic of the scale model of our new pig pens in a week or two. The model has allowed me to improve design without wasting a lot of time and wood. (The Pigs will be doing what they love to do most, Rooting up clean healthy soil, making them happier pigs.)
We feed no Soy, have no GMOs in our animal feeds! {We do not grow Soybeans}

Most important, for the past several years we have replaced depleated nutrients to our soils. (REMINERALIZING) Then too, we restored the mineral balance to our soil, thisessential to produce nutrient rich foods, plus the best conditions for a healthy mix of soil microbes, rarely found in modern corporate farm, soils both because of the misuse of antibiotics in livestock Feed, and the lack of understanding; of the subject of soil nutrient ratios.
(IF a CAFO field grows massive tons of CHEAP per acre, great, who cares about health providing nutrition? Of course you get what you paid for cheap, well almost)
Our improvements have been made using "organic type" methods.
All meats are from animals grazed on good grass, clover, and mixed salad crop pastures.
We use no mitacides in our honeybees, {We even avoid using contaminated wax foundation in our hives} {hives have been changed to prevent mites}. Our Honeybees are not exposed to other "'cides" in their travels, we use all natural methods to protect our littlest ladys, as they help our fruits & veggies pollinate, while collecting sweets we also enjoy.
