To provide the very best healthy products straight from the farm to you is a usually a great gamble.
Please forward this site to your neighbors, to help us to keep our expenses, and costs down
Usually: We and others go out and borrow money to plant products, (to buy the feeders to raise, and to pay for fertilizer, fuel, and etc). (In our case organic certified high cost stuff), and the fuel for the equipment to plant and cultivate the crops. We still need money to live on and etc. We then pay interest on this elevated loan that the Bank provides us, for the bank knows what we know... Even in a GREAT YEAR, We still have to sell the product. Therefore the Bank provides {at best} a high interest rate loan.
To reduce cost, we are offering this great variety of farm items at less then supermarket prices for items you request from our wish sheet. You are eligable for the extras at these better prices. We will deliver our products at central points in, or near your community each week during the season. We even will bring winter deliveries of cold cellar stored and greenhouse vegetables until the following spring season.
SO place your order for a supply of poultry. And tell us what other products you are interested in (from our product sheet we will mail to you) We will only produce what we have some type of request for.
When we sell wholesale, you add several trucking fees, plus two or three middlemen who handle the products; and each add to the cost, each also add risk of contamination with the additional handling.

NOTE: we only need a 70% deposit for your poultry. You may make out an order and mail it with a check, I prefer that to paypal, as there are no additional fees. I have not figured how to use a shopping cart, so write out your order on a scratch paper, then go to Sign Guest Book and type in your ORDER and tell us how much of each item you want, total the numbers, and multiply the result by .70 to get the total to send. You can then go to the bottom of the page and mail us a check for the deposit amount. No way to send just the deposit on Paypal order.NOTE: Farming is the only business where we usually buy (RETAIL) and sell (WHOLESALE) We must show the maximum we are charging for our poultry,
We always produce more then we need, to be sure you will get what you order.
We must show a price, and that price MUST cover our potential expenses. If we find actual costs are lower, you may receive an extra item or two, (either what you already ordered, or something else for you to try, our choice). This too, will reduce your actual costs as you purchase our products. In the event that we lose more poultry, then we have orders for, moneys will be returned in other products available on the truck though the season.

Broilers 6 - 7 Lb
One of our overhead expenses has been removed so we are lowering our price one last time. These will be deliverd starting between the end of June and mid July, and once each week, from then to the end of the season. The average will be greater then 5 Lbs. You are buying by the each.

This is as for the broilers, however tis is for ten 5.5 lb plus broilers, minimum of 5.5 Lb average I.E. you will recieve 55 to 60 Lbs or more of chicken.

Cornish Game Hens order for "10" birds minimum 30 Lbs
This is for 10 Cornish game hens 2.5 to 3 Lbs
You will recieve a minimum of 30 Lbs. of these.

This deal is for one Duck dressed, ready to cook, at about 7Lb minimum weight,

1 Large Turkey 26 - 30 Lbs {non Heirloom hybred}
If you need a large turkey a braod brested Bronze Tom will fit the bill. These are not as nice a bird as the heirloom varieties, but with the pasture they grow on, they will be much nicer, and better for you, then any house raised meat.

Large Heirloom variety 15+ Lbs
These are heirloom varieties, your bird may be a Narragansett, Bourbon Red, Black Spanish, or another breed. All fed a diet and allowed to run on fresh grass/clover each day, in addition to feed with sunflower instead of soy, and reduced corn. All of our poultry except the Broilers which nearly require the high protein, are fed low soy diets, with reduced corn in the feed.

5 Large Heirloom variety 18+ Lbs
This order is for 5 heirloom variety turkeys. Your birds may be a Narragansett, Bourbon Red, Black Spanish, or another breed. All fed a diet and allowed to run on fresh grass/clover each day, in addition to feed with sunflower instead of soy, and reduced corn. Even the Broilers which require the high protein, are fed NO soy in thier diet, and reduced corn in the feed. Minimum Weight of this package will be 80 Lbs

These are heirloom varieties, your bird may be a Royal Palm, or small hen of another heirloom variety. All fed a diet and allowed to run on fresh grass/clover each day, in addition to feed low in Soy, and reduced corn. Even the Broilers which require the high protein, are fed NO soy in thier diet, rather are fed sunflower instead of the soy, and reduced corn in the feed.

Idea? Have a healthy foods educational party, Show the DVD "Food Inc." or "King Corn",and explain the healthy alternatives we are planning to deliver to your community.All of our poultry orders MUST have a wish sheet (request) for your produce returned promptly to allow us to grow what you normally use. This allows us to produce "organic" products with out the waste, therefore you get normal farm prices. NOTICE: we grow nothing without a request for it,. We produce extras of requested items, so you may have enough through the season. Items shown in red, on the sheet, will be available from our cold cellar through the winter months and will be delivered once each month. Some items which we cannot sell, may be seen on the truck, and may be taken, a donation to cover our expenses would be nice. You know the value.
. Note: If you saw "Soy" in the description of our feeds, we originally didn't think we would be able to get enough de oiled Sunflower pellets to meet our feed demands. This has been resolved, If I missed taking out the comment "regarding limited amout of soy", it is an oversight. It takes hours to proof read this sight and I usually do not have that much time to spend editing this. Thanks for your understanding in this.
THERE IS NO SOY!
There are many merchants in the Penn Yan area who have been dealing with our {Service business, we are retiring from} on a regular basis. We have raised our family here, and have owned our home and farm, since 1993. We have no plans do anything else with our early retirement then to produce the best food possible for you our Neighbors, we enjoy your visits where you join us during a day now and then, as we plant tend or harvest your products.
